Check Printing

Check printing is more than just what is on the face of your checks; it is an expression of who you are.  No other form of printed material says more about you than your checks.  Consider your checks as a form of expressing a little bit more about yourself.  Check printing lets you share your interests, hobbies, causes, or feelings with the rest of the world.  You can even say that check printing is your voice extended to reach in many different directions with your particular voice and passion.

Printed checks come in many forms and are available in single or duplicate wallet checks.  They come in: Top–bound, Top–bound checks with carbonless duplicates, single part checks in a standard single wallet format, Top–Stub or End–Stub, and they also include deposit slips and a vinyl cover sleeve that you can also have personalized.

Many check companies offer security features of check printing that aid in reducing fraud.  These features include:

Security Screen – Words stating this document is the original copy are lightly printed so checks are more complicated to reproduce.

Micro Check Printing – A line of type too small to photocopy clearly is printed on the check.

Paper Sensitive to Chemicals – Stains or spots will appear on the printed check if a person uses chemicals to modify handwritten information on the printed checks.

Erasure Protection – It will reveal a white spot if a person tries to erase the printing on the check.

Padlock Icon – This symbol alerts perpetrators to the security features present in the printed check and lets them know they are described in the Warning Box on the back.

Design – elaborate patterns, designs, and colors make it more difficult to modify the printed check.
